Underground Fashion: AIE Clothing

To the majority of the population art consists of painters, dancers, musicians, poets and actors, but our definition is a little different. We believe that Art Is Everything. Why can’t engineering be art? Why can’t swimming be an art? Do they not train in their craft for hours on end? Do they not adhere to a specific pattern when they perform their craft? Doesn’t making a pattern require creativity? Do they not have a passion for what they do? Athletes and Engineers are creative with the methods they use to perform. There are many different plays that athletes use to get an edge on another team. This requires strategy and creativity. Engineers use physics and abstract concepts and theories to figure out the answers to many of life’s unanswered questions.

Art is Everything (AIE)(pronounced “I”) clothing was first launched on September 1st, 2012 by Anthony Donnay-Wood. Growing up in poverty in Dallas, Texas, he was determined to get out and make it in life. Now a senior at Hampton University, the 20 year old has a passion for the engineering, arts and entrepreneurship. He is a part of Oracle dance crew in Hampton, Virginia. Visit www.youtube.com/anthonyhampu to see his work. AIE Clothing makes designs based on the idea that everything that has ever been done is an ART. Throughout the life of this company, we will be dedicated to bringing high quality fashionable clothing, at affordable prices, with designs catered to 7 different art forms: Liberal arts, Science/Technology, Education, Business, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, and Communications.
