"THE FUNCTION" was established in Aug 2012. Even though it just started, the creator, Carliejay, has been blogging all through high school. She use to have a website called, "Dope Media", which was hacked and deleted. She wanted to start blogging again because this is what she enjoyed doing. The Function came into existence the beginning of her sophomore year of college. The Function is a website that supports Underground/Indy music and fashion. We are the provider of a generation of unheard talent across the World. We are very diverse and support all types of music in the world. The Function is here to keep you updated on the Indy Artists and for your enjoyment as well.


Our Mission: is to make sure people who are dope, hard working artists that have passion&potential to receive the recognition they deserve.
